JESUS VERSUS MOHAMMED

Both Jesus and Prophet Mohammed was born in Middle east, the region which gave the birth to the human civilization. Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, the mountainous southern part of the historic Land of Israel, which specifically refer to the West Bank area south of Jerusalem, he was born during the reign of Roman Emperor Augustus, the first emperor of the golden era of the Roman Empire while Prophet Mohammed was born in Mecca whch was the economic hub of the merchants when it was under the rule of Quraysh tribe. ince the main widely-accepted sources of information regarding Jesus' life and teachings are the four canonical Gospels of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Most scholars in the fields of history and biblical studies agree that Jesus was a Galilean Jew, was regarded as a teacher and healer, was baptized by John the Baptist, and was crucified in Jerusalem on orders of the Roman Governor Pontius Pilate under the accusation of sedition against the Roman Empire where as Prophet Mohammed was orphaned at a young age and was brought up by his uncle, later worked mostly as a merchant, and was married by age 25. At some point, discontented with life in Mecca, he retreated to a cave in the surrounding mountains for meditation and reflection. According to Islamic tradition, it was here at age 40, in the month of Ramadan, where he received his first revelation from God. Three years after this event, Mohammad started preaching these revelations publicly, proclaiming that "God is One", that complete "surrender" to Him (literally. islām) is man's religion (dīn), and that he was a prophet and messenger of God, in the same vein as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and other prophets and Christian views of Jesus center on the belief that Jesus is the Messiah whose coming was promised in the Old Testament and that he was resurrected after his crucifixion. Christians predominantly believe that Jesus is God incarnate, who came to provide salvation and reconciliation with God. The revelations (or Ayats, literally. Signs of God), which Mohammad had continued receiving till his death, form the verses of the Qur'an, regarded by Muslims as the “word of God”, around which the religion is based. Besides the Qur'an, Muhammad’s life (sira) and traditions (hadith) are also upheld by Muslims, who consider him to be the “Perfect Man”, whose example (sunnah) is to be followed in all aspects of life.On the other hand Jesus followed a pathway which would lead all; the righteousness including the ressurected death to a spiritual kingdom and his teachings and lifestyle killed the hopes of jews who thought of a political messiah who was supposed to create a new Israel of power and harmony. but Mohammed revolutionized the social political and religious organization of his people.
Mohammad's teachings are included in what is called Hadith. The Hadith is a record of Mohammad's words and deeds according to his wives, relatives, and companions. The Hadith is viewed by Muslims as inspired. Next to the Qur'an, it is the most important part of Islamic law; its teachings are just as binding. The Hadith is recorded in many books, and by many people, not all of them are agreed upon by all Muslims. All of our quotes below are from "Sahih Al-Bukhari " which comes in nine volumes, and contains thousands of Hadiths. Al Bukhari is accepted by all Muslims as the authentic words of Mohammad.
Islam is more than a religion; it is a comprehensive way of life. The Qur'an, Mohammad, his immediate followers, and generations of theologians prescribed numerous regulations governing every aspect of the Muslim social, political, economic, and religious life.

Following are some of the teachings of Prophet Mohammed:
Women are deficient in mind and religion.
Mohammed asked some women, "Isn't the witness of a woman equal to half that of a man?" The women said, "yes," He said, "This is because of the deficiency of the woman's mind. " Vol. 3:826
Mohammed to women: "I have not seen any one more deficient in intelligence and religion than you." Vol. 2:541

The majority of people in hell are women.
Mohammed said, "I was shown the Hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers are women. " Vol. 1:28, 301; Vol. 2:161; Vol. 7:124

Women are a bad omen.
Mohammed said, " Bad omen is in the woman, the house and the horse." Vol. 7:30

Women are harmful to men.
Mohammed said, "After me I have not left any affliction more harmful to men than women." Vol. 7:33

Women may not wear wigs.
Mohammed said, " Don't wear false hair for Allah sends His curse upon such ladies who lengthen their hair artificially." Vol. 7:133

Islam teaches that women are inferior to men.
"...And women shall have rights similar to the rights against them, according to what is equitable; but men have a degree over them..." Surah 2:228

Islam teaches that women are less than equal to men in at least two major areas:
First, in inheritance: A woman's share is half that of a man. "To the male a portion equal to that of two females..." Surah 4:11
Second, in court witness: The witness of two women equals the witness of one man.
"And get two witnesses out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women such as ye choose, for witness..." Surah 2:282

Islam considers the wife a possession.
"...Fair in the eyes of men is the love of things they covet: Women and sons; heaped-up hoards of gold and silver; horses..." Surah 3:14

Islam teaches that women are unclean.
If a Muslim man touches a woman (even his wife) before praying, he is considered unclean for prayer.
"O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged until ye can understand all that ye say, nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (except when traveling on the road), until after washing your whole body if ye are ill or on a journey or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands: for Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again." Surah 4:43 (See also Surah 5:6)

Islam teaches that a wife is subject to punishment by her husband. As a punishment, beating a wife or abstaining from sexual relations with her is allowed.
"...As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, Admonish them, refuse to share their beds, beat them,..." Surah 4:34
"For those who take an oath for abstention from their wives, a waiting for four months is ordained; if they return, God is oft-forgiving, most merciful." Surah 2:226

Islam instructs women to veil themselves always when they are outside their homes. And, even inside their homes, in certain situations.
"And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty..." Surah 24:31
"O prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad)..." Surah 33:59

Mohammed's sexual strength is equal to 30 men.
Anas said, "The prophet used to visit all his wives in an hour round, during the day and night and they were eleven in number." I asked Anas , "Had the prophet the strength for it?" Anas replied, "We used to say that the prophet was given the strength of thirty (men). " Vol. 1:268

Mohammed married a 9 year old girl.
"Narrated Aisha that the prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old." Vol. 7:64

Unnatural sex is allowed.
"Narrated Jaber; Jews used to say: If one has sexual intercourse with his wife from the back, then she will deliver a squint-eyed child." So this verse was revealed: "Your wives are a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when and how you will." (Whether in a natural or unnatural way). Vol. 6:51 [ tilth means a field to be plowed.]

Allah hurries to please Mohammed's sexual desires.
When the Quranic verse that allows Mohammed to postpone the turn of any wives was revealed, and when Mohammed said that Allah allowed him to marry his adopted son's wife, Aisha (one of his wives) said, "O Allah's Apostle I do not see but that your Lord hurries in pleasing you." Vol. 7:48

When a woman is divorced irrevocably, she can not return to her husband until she marries (including having sexual intercourse) with another man.
"Narrated Aisha: The wife of Rifaa Al-Qurazi came to Allah's Apostle and said, 'O Allah's Apostle, Rifaa divorced me irrevocably. After him I married Abdur-Rahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi who proved to be impotent.' Allah's Apostle said to her, 'Perhaps you want to return to Rifaa? Nay (You cannot return to Rifaa ) until you and Abdur-Rahman (the impotent man) engage in sexual intercourse! '" Vol. 7:186

Islam allows polygamy: A man may marry up to four wives at one time.
"...Marry women of your choice, two,or three, or four..." Surah 4:3
Note: Extra privileges were given to Mohammed, "The Prophet of Islam." He was allowed unlimited wives. Mohammed had 13 wives in addition to several concubines which we know of for a fact.

Ayesha was only nine years old at the time he married her, Mohammed was fifty-three years old. Another wife, Zaynab Bint Jahsh, was his daughter-in-law. When Zaid, Mohammed's adopted son, saw that Mohammed desired his wife, he divorced her so that Mohammed could marry her.

Islam considers the wife a sex object.
"Your wives are as a tilth (a field to be ploughed) unto you, so approach your tilth when or how ye will." Surah 2:223

A man can divorce his wife by oral pronouncement. The wife has no such right in the Quran.
"It may be, if he divorced you that Allah will give him in exchange consorts better than you..."Surah 66:5

When a husband has pronounced divorce three times on his wife, he may not lawfully remarry her until she has married (and had sexual intercourse) and been divorced by another man called "Al Mohalil " (the legalizer).
"A divorce is only permissible twice; after that, the parties should either hold together on equitable terms, or separate with kindness,... " Surah 2:229
"...So if a husband divorces his wife he cannot after that, remarry her until after she has married another husband, and he has divorced her, in that case there is no blame on either of them if they reunite..." Surah 2:230

How the baby's looks are determined.
Mohammed said, "As for the child, if the man's discharge precedes the woman's discharge, the child attracts the similarity of the man, and if the woman's discharge precedes the man's, then the child attracts the similarity of the woman." Vol. 5:275

If you eat garlic don't come to the place of worship.
Mohammed said, "Whosoever ate from this plant (i.e. garlic) should not enter the mosque." Vol. 1:812

Effect of evil eye
Mohammed said, "The effect of an evil eye is a fact. "Vol. 7:636

Which shoe you should put on first.
Mohammed said, "If you want to put on your shoes, put on the right shoe first, and if you want them off, take the left one first." Vol. 7:747

Breathing in your drink is bad.
Mohammed said, "Don't breath into your drinking utensil." Vol. 1:156

God frightens his devotees with eclipse .
Mohammed said, "The sun and the moon are two signs amongst the signs of Allah and they do not eclipse because of the death of someone but Allah frightens His devotees with them. " Vol. 2:158

Mohammed, known as the Prophet of Islam, was born of the esteemed Quraysh tribes in Mecca on the 20th of April. The chief occupation of his tribe was trade. When he grew up he earned a great reputation for his honesty and integrity. He always fulfilled his promises. Because he was extremely trustworthy, he became known as Al-Amin.When Mohammed was twenty-five years old he married Khadija, a rich widow of Mecca, then forty years of age. She was a gentle woman of spotless character. Mohammed delivered public sermons on his faith to a large number of people, proclaiming the unity of God and denouncing the evil of drunkenness and impurity. Though some ridiculed and turned away, others were converted by the power of his words.Once, he went to the Kaaba and proclaimed that there was no God but Allah. The worshippers of idols looked upon this as a great insult and attacked him, but he was rescued by his disciples. He was abused and insulted frequently in public. The Prophet of Islam did not hold any debates nor did he challenge anyone to controversies and discussions. He silently converted people to his faith through his strong personality, charming demeanor and force of divine virtues. He bore with patience the persecution of his tormentors. His characteristics as well as the power of the verses of the Koran captivated the hearts of people. The teaching of Mohammed attracted numerous followers because they came from a simple and honest man who never posed as a world teacher. He often told his disciples that he was an ordinary man as they were, teaching them to believe in Allah and His revelations.Mohammed had great compassion and love. He served the widows and orphans, the poor, sick, aged and homeless. Once, he met an old, impoverished widow. Mohammed said to his wife, "My beloved, give food to this old woman first and then you may eat." When the Prophet saw a blind woman stumbling in the street in Mecca, he led her gently home and thereafter took meals to her daily. One day, he saw a woman with a heavy load on her head. At once he relieved her of her burden and carried it on his own head to her house. Mohammed was humble and simple. Although he was a Prophet with a large following he worked along with others like an ordinary labourer during the construction of the first mosque at Medina. He mended his own shoes, milked the cows, swept the house, purchased provisions, tethered and fed the camels. He never laughed loudly but simply smiled. He had an attractive face and a charming smile. He respected the poor and restored freedom to many slaves.Islam, meaning "resignation to the Will of God", bears marked similarity to the Semitic religion of Judaism. It emphasizes the principle of brotherhood and equality of man, and is based on austere, simple living. The main injunctions of Islam are fasting, prayer, pilgrimage, charity and firm belief in the oneness of God and His prophets, particularly Mohammed. The holy Koran, divided into more than one hundred chapters, opens and ends with the subject of the unity of God. The religion of Islam is essentially a religion of peace, for Mohammed was a lover of peace and non-violence. Selflessness and service to suffering humanity are the watchwords of Islam.
Jesus was not anyone's descendant; rather he came from the Other Earth. He came down into this world of the dead, rich in knowledge and having a unique understanding that was given to him from above. It is by knowledge that he returned home to Other Earth. Those who are ignorant (lack the knowledge) continue to go about this world in bestiality. For how can a man understand without knowledge?

As in the Bible,
Then Jesus said, as he left this world for Other Earth, "I go to the place from whence I came. If you wish to come with me, come!"
Jesus often taught with parables. When asked why He used this method of teaching, Jesus said, "I speak to them in parables because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand." (Matthew 13:13) Parables have been defined as "earthly stories with heavenly meanings." They are short illustrations that convey spiritual lessons. Parables enabled Jesus to convey His lessons to disciples while concealing the truth from unbelievers. This was important because religious leaders in Palestine were hostile toward Jesus. On two occasions prior to the crucifixion the Jews tried to kill Jesus for speaking plainly. As its called a parable is an earthly story with a spiritual truth. Early in his ministry, Jesus spoke these parables to a crowd beside the Sea of Galilee. It was prophesied that Jesus would teach with parables. He used parables to both reveal and to conceal the truth. Receptive believers understood that the parables had spiritual application, and could therefore unlock their secret truths. Unbelievers did not share this insight, and consequently misunderstood the parables. The opponents of Jesus had difficulty refuting the few parables they understood. Matthew 15:10-20 records a parable that the Pharisees understood but could not refute. One of the greatest teachings of Jesus were the beatitudes which were preached in the beginning of the sermon on the mount and they describe the way to gain eternal life in heaven, the life after death in the kingdom of god. The word "beatitude" is derived from the Latin "beatus," which means blessed or happy. It is said to be appropriate because each teaching begins with the word "blessed."
When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain; and after He sat down, His disciples came to Him. He opened His mouth and began to teach them, saying... THE EIGHT BEATITUDES Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. the other teachings of jesus from his own words,
Light of the world You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
Giving Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven. So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be honored by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. Pray in secret When you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you. And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words. So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
Judgment Day The Lord's rebuke on Judgment Day brings home the gravity of the sin of neglect: Then He will also say to those on His left, " Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me." (Matthew 25:41-43) In many of His sermons, Jesus said that righteousness was more than not acting on one's evil desires. In other words, it is not enough to just act righteously - one must also think righteously. Desiring to do evil in your mind makes you guilty of that very same act before a holy God. This is why all people have sinned and fall short of God's holy standard. The table below lists some examples of these principles that Jesus taught in His sermon on the Mount of Olives.

Many atheists claim that the golden rule is a part of virtually every religion, and that it was taught by many before Jesus was born. This is false, since the "golden rule" taught in other religions is not the same as that taught by Jesus. Here is what Jesus said:
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. (Matthew 7:12, Jesus Christ)
In comparison, here is the "golden rule" given by Confucius:
Tsze-kung asked, saying, "Is there one word which may serve as a rule of practice for all one's life?" The Master said, "Is not RECIPROCITY such a word? What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others." (The Analects Book 15:24)
There is a huge difference between the two. Confucius merely phrased it in the negative. Don't do what you would not want others to do to you. In addition, Confucius phrased the philosophy in terms of reciprocity - expecting something back in return. However, Jesus said:
"But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men. (Luke 6:35)
In addition, Jesus phrased the rule in the positive, which is quite different. Jesus recognized the problem with the "golden rule" that was prevalent at the time. Not doing evil is not the same as doing good for everyone. After giving the golden rule in his sermon on the Mount of Olives, He made the following statement:
"If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. (Luke 6:32)
The real golden rule requires you to love everyone, even those who mistreat you or use you for their own gain. Is it possible to love everyone? If you try to do it by your own power, you will fail.
Jesus taught that those who were His followers would be known by their love.
16 The love of God overflows through those who love Him, such that they are willing to even give up their lives to save another.
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
(John 15:13)
Atheists often claim that Jesus Christ taught nothing unique that cannot be found in the other religions of the world. However, the truth is that Jesus' message is radically different from that of every other religion. The message of Jesus Christ is unique among all the world's religions. This uniqueness is one of the main reasons why his vision and mission lead majority of the nations in this world to follow his beliefs and thus it empowered them to achieve the goals of their lives with great courage and confidence through believing in one god and on the other hand the teachings of Mohammed fueled his followers to regain the position which they lost longtime ago when Hagar and her son
Ishmael, Abram's firstborn, but was not the promised child, as God made his covenant with Abram after Ishmael's birth and were eventually driven permanently away from Abraham by Sarah presence of the Holy God. The teachings of Jesus and Mohammed lead their followers to two different pathways through believing the same one and only almighty god and the end of it is called the “Holy War” which would take place in future.
We wind up this from the beginning sentence of Holy Qu’ran and with another quotation about Jesus;

“Anyone who reads this holy word without being a follower of Allah will be a loser here after”-Holy Qu’ran-
It is not enough to act righteously, you must be completely righteous. When your are a sinner do you think that God will buy your excuses?Never, You need a Savior, which is why Jesus came to Earth. If you have not come to the same conclusion, do some more research. If the claims of Jesus Christ are true, what you decide to do with Him is the most important question you will ever face.-www.lifeofchrist.com-
